As of May 2008, the Clansman Function and Wedding Centre Restaurant is now owned and run by Bob and Maryanne Charles.  This is our first time in the hospitality industry and the whole experience is much like a TV style sea change.  Only it’s a river change and a long way from our former lives.  We are very lucky to have Kevin Cooper (head chef) and the other wonderful people that make up the CLANSMAN team.

The CLANSMAN started its life as the River Resort Restaurant and has been developed and influenced by the three previous owners.  We too have plans and aspirations that should take her on another leg of an interesting journey.

Since 2008 many renovations and improvements to the bar, dining room, alfresco, infrastructure and grounds have been undertaken.  In December 2009 we were granted our Tavern Licence.  We thank everyone who supported us in our application.
